I really wanted to take some good street style photos while I was down in San Diego,
it was terrible.

Day One.
The bottom RIGHT is for Myspace...duh.
And if you care, I'm wearing all vintage...except my crazy bra.
The Coaster...God Bless it.
Just some ads for Sapporo.
California is the shit.

Zero to Crazy in 10 minutes flat.
They are fun, but I've seen them before. Although they did announce DJ AM's death during their set...shocking.
I had to get a photo of the raver lady with the light up finger tip gloves...look at them go when she dances.
Before Girl Talk.
Girl Talk was absolutely insane.
(I got a number...thats how insane)
After Girl Talk.
(Christina calls this look, "sea urchin")
Black Eyed Peas.
They weren't that good...obviously, but I am completely IN LOVE with the shorts that Fergie was wearing!
Hey EVERYBODY!, I'm not wearing any underwear!
I love all that is skanky.

It was so hot.
I wore nothing. No, seriously though...The Shortest Shorts: samples from my old job, Slub Tank: F21, Black Vest: The most amazing vintage vest that one of my old venders gave to me because she said that it looked like something I HAD to have...genius, Boots: Doc Martins, Purse: Vintage...(I think that a serial killer used to own it, which is another story).
Public Enemy.
They played for about an hour and a half (because EVERYBODY was late that rude) and they killed it.
Just sayin'.
Busta Rhymes.
Has no hair.
He was late and he pissed me off.
But he did,
Pass the Courvoisier.
Everybody sing it now.
This something that I just didn't get and I somewhat got mad at.
Yes, I did take this photo.
And, YES, they did KICK SO MUCH ASS!
The Dead Weather fully blew my mind.  Alison Mosshart is a TRUE rockstar.
Thinking about being her for Halloween.
Jack White's was amazing and so was his drum set. He sang, played drums, and then graced us with his overly talented guitar skills.
Thank You, The Dead Weather, you are my new favorite band.

We also saw Thievery Corporation, but I was too tired and hot to care by that point.
I know.
Was actually pretty bad. I really like her and I expected more. I'm blaming it on the fact that she's a momma now. On the upside she gave us A LOT of crotch thrusts and middle fingers.
Don't YOU tell me what to do.

First off, wtf?
This show better be gooooooood.
If they mess this up I'm going to be pissed off.
Awww, sucks.
Somebody is getting hot coffee in the face.
I'm totally going to watch it anyway.
So I can make fun of it for Big Boy in The Morning.

This is my version of menswear right now.
This is not a Don't.
I just wanted to look like I was in Daft Punk.

Cardigan:  Target, Tank: F21, "Slacks": Jean Paul Gaultier, Shoes: F21, Jewelry: Was my Momma's.
Sunglasses: Photoshop
These Pants are great...they have a button detail that stretches about 12" up from the hem at the side seam.  Sad you can't see it in these photos.

I'm at Street Scene in San Diego today!  Can't wait to post photos!
Sooooo good.

Dance Party...I love these two photos.
Back rubs...$5, but free for Norwegians.
Happy Birthday............Rob?
(weirdly enough, the birthday man did not make it into the photos...
I suck and I'll try harder next time).

That "ooooh" face looks like I just got slapped.
<3 you Carlos.

The Dead Weather.
I have been listening to them for a couple of weeks...
trying to decide I love it or...hate it.
The Dead Weather was formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2009. With a chemical make up of Alison Mosshart (of The Kills and Discount), Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) and Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes). The Dead Weather stepped into the public's eye on March 11, 2009 at the opening of Third Man Records' Nashville headquarters. The band performed and released their debut single "Hang You from the Heavens".

Designers, Mike and Dan, of Aesthetic Apparatus in Minneapolis, pretty much just make art posters for bands...saaaaa-weet (as my dad would say) jobs man.  They look like the lost members of Weezer and I'm not mad at it.  They designed the above poster for The Dead Weather's National and Canadian tour.  Its one of my favorite of  all the bands they've done (Grizzly Bear, The Submarines, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sparklehorse, etc.).
Look for it...they're coming to a venue near you.

In fact...
If you live in or around the L.A. area they're playing at the Wiltern tonight (my ALL-TIME favorite venue) and The Myan tomorrow night.
The tickets are a bit pricey...$32 + fees
I plan on seeing them at Street Scene in San Diego (I think it means a whale's vagina).  These tickets are waaaaay more expensive, but they have an insane line-up...I mean, I'm going to see Busta Rhymes...whaaaaat?
Other bands I'm excited about...
Thievery Corporation, Modest Mouse, Girl Talk, Band of Horses, M.I.A, Devendra Banhart (why not?), Crocodiles, and Black Eyed Peas...gonna get that boom already.
I'll be sure to have some street style photos fo' dat ass this week.

I just love this.
Verdict: Love Them.

Ugh, waaaaay too much type down there in the previous posts, huh?
I'm a visual person...most creative people are, so here are some visuals that make me want to scream with happiness...

Spanish Moss Vintage.
How do you do it?

They have just re-vamped their website and I love it!

How Freaking cute is this?  I personally love anything that looks like/resembles a tuxedo.
Its on sale right now...go to it.
Then I found this on Facehunter the same day.
They both inspired my attire for the evening (which wasn't far from anything unusual for me)...
So there you have it.  I guess thats what I would look like if I had long blonde hair.
These photos also inspired me to use one of them for my home page on my website that I'm working on.
Ugh, finally...put that beast to rest for a bit.
